Originally created as the official London 2012 education programme, Get Set was designed to deliver Lord Sebastian Coe’s vision of using the Olympic and Paralympic Games to inspire a generation of young people. Following the Olympic Games, Get Set became the youth engagement programme of the British Olympic Association and the British Paralympic Association.
Get Set gives young people the chance to live by the Olympic and Paralympic Values, whilst supporting them to develop healthy active lifestyles. The programme also encourages young people across the UK to get behind Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes, show their support and learn more about the Games. Find out more about Get Set at www.getset.co.uk.
Get Set is supported by a number of Team GB and ParalympicsGB sponsors, including Aldi who are an official partner of Team GB, supporting six Team GB athletes as they continue their training. These partners offer a number of Get Set + programmes for schools that support young people in living healthy, active lifestyles.
