Originally created as the official London 2012 education programme, Get Set was designed to deliver Lord Sebastian Coe’s vision of using the Olympic and Paralympic Games to inspire a generation of young people. Following the Olympic Games, Get Set became the youth engagement programme of the British Olympic Association and the British Paralympic Association.
Get Set provides hundreds of free resources for teachers, alongside other exclusive opportunities for children, schools and famillies, to give young people the chance to live by the Olympic and Paralympic Values and develop healthy active lifestyles. The programme also encourages young people across the UK to get behind Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes, show their support and learn more about the Games. Find out more about Get Set at: getset.co.uk.
Get Set is supported by a number of Team GB and ParalympicsGB sponsors, including Aldi who are an official partner of Team GB, supporting their Team GB athlete ambassadors as they continue their training. These partners offer a number of Get Set + programmes for schools that support young people in living healthy, active lifestyles.
