Design a billboard competition

In partnership with Aldi, Team GB & ParalympicsGB

Get ready to celebrate 10 years of Get Set to Eat Fresh - our exciting, free healthy eating programme! We’re calling on pupils aged 5-14 to unleash their creativity, shine in the spotlight, and help make a tasty difference.

The Prizes

  • A goody bag and a £100 Aldi voucher for each winning student
 
  • The winning design featured on a real local billboard 
  • The winning schools will receive £1,000 and a visit from Team GB or ParalympicsGB athlete 
  • Six runners up will receive a goody bag and a £30 Aldi voucher

Film discussion points

  • We’re challenging your pupils to Design a Billboard that inspires others to cook, eat and enjoy healthy, fresh food. 
  • The winning designs will be featured on real-life billboards in the winner’s local community – from store signs to roadside posters. 
  • And not only that - the winning schools will receive £1,000 and a visit from a Team GB or ParalympicsGB athlete! 
  • It’s a fun and exciting way to explore healthy eating and leading active lives, with clear links to PSHE, Food Tech and Art. 

Activity ideas

  • Use the Design a Billboard presentation to test your pupils’ knowledge of cooking, eating and enjoying healthy food.  
  • Encourage your pupils to think about what might encourage your community to cook, eat and enjoy healthy food. 
  • Discuss examples of eye-catching designs and how to make them.

How to Enter 

Register or sign in to download your free resources. Then, once you’re ready, submit your pupils’ entries by email or post.
