Get cooking – Roasted pumpkin seeds

Make the most of your pumpkin with this simple, healthy snack.

You will need

100g pumpkin seeds

2 teaspoons of melted butter (or olive oil).

A pinch of salt

Garlic powder (optional)

Paprika (optional)

 

Method

1.     Preheat oven to 150 C and scoop seeds out of the pumpkin.

2.     Mix seeds with the melted butter and your choice of seasoning.

3.     Spread seeds evenly across a baking tray and bake for about 45 minutes (until golden brown) stirring occasionally.
